Professional Genetic Genealogist

Laura Clark Murray is a professional genealogist and a forensic investigative genetic genealogist with more than twenty years of research experience. She specializes in DNA research, Gephi genetic networks, and artificial intelligence for genealogy.

As a volunteer for the DNA Doe Project, Laura works on cold cases to help to identify John and Jane Does using forensic investigative genetic genealogy.

Laura is a DNA researcher for Diana Elder and Nicole Dyer, the co-authors of the best-selling books Research Like a Pro and Research Like a Pro with DNA, and hosts of the podcast Research Like a Pro.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and has had a professional career in high-technology and artificial intelligence. She works for Stanford University as program manager of a technology fund.
